Be a part of Kashi Day of Change® Tour!

Volunteer for cooking demonstrations during the Kashi Day of Change Tour!

Once again, Kashi is teaming up with Share Our Strength’s Operation Frontline ® during its Day of Change event in Seattle. Day of Change Tour stops include tents for food demonstration, yoga instruction, and Kashi product sampling.

The Tour is designed to promote a message that we know well at Operation Frontline: We can all make changes, big and small, to daily habits to live a healthier life. We want our most talented Operation Frontline chefs to promote Kashi and Operation Frontline’s shared healthy living messages.

How Volunteers Can Help

We need Operation Frontline volunteers to both demonstrate a healthy recipe using Kashi products and promote Share Our Strength’s Operation Frontline program in Seattle.

This event will take place on June 20th- June 21st, 2009 at the Fremont Fair.

There are two ways you can represent Operation Frontline at Kashi’s Day of Change events.

1. Chef volunteers can sign up for a 2 to 3 hour shift and complete up to 3 demonstrations in the “Kashi Kitchen.” Since Kashi doesn’t have a set number of demonstrations per Day of Change event, chef volunteer commitments are flexible. Therefore, please suggest two or three demonstration times for yourself if you are interested in getting involved. All Operation Frontline chef volunteers will demonstrate an original recipe created by Operation Frontline DC Chef Volunteer Scott Houghton – Kashi 7-Grain Pilaf and Orange Salad

2. Nutrition and support volunteers are also needed to help spread the word about Operation Frontline’s role in their communities and discuss the nutritional value of the recipes being demonstrated.
