Operation Frontline classes require a coordinated team effort, as anyone who has volunteered knows. Two hours fly by while delicious food is cut, stirred, sautéed, and baked, and participants learn about whole grains, fiber, and the importance of breakfast.
In order to create a better sense of team, the OFL staff has decided to implement a Week Zero session for each team of volunteers for any given class series. This Week Zero meeting will give the Chef, Nutritionist, Assistant, and Coordinator a chance to meet each other and share materials, resources, and information that will make teaching the classes smoother.
This is in coordination with an effort to reorganize our space to make it more user-friendly for volunteers. We have lots of educational resources that have been underutilized and should be available for your investigation.
You will hear from the OFL Coordinator of your class about meeting on Week Zero.
