Hi everyone! My name is Janna and I am the new AmeriCorps member for Cooking Matters at Solid Ground. I recently moved to Seattle (less than a week ago!) from my home in Silver Spring, MD. I graduated from college last May with a degree in Nutritional Sciences. I'm really excited to be helping out with the classes and getting back into the kitchen- my best classes in college were cooking classes! I'm also looking forward to sharing my love of nutrition and healthful eating with others. I am optimistic that this is going to be a rewarding and fun year. I'll do my best to support all of the volunteers and answer any question that comes up. I'll also keep this blog updated with all the new and exciting happenings here at Solid Ground and at Cooking Matters. Very excited to meet you all and see you in the kitchen!
