WHY:
Thanks to our Sponsors and participating Restaurants and Chefs, 100% of the night’s proceeds go directly back to Operation Frontline (OFL) Seattle - a direct outreach program providing culinary and nutrition classes to low-income members of our community. OFL supports those who have been hit hardest during these difficult economic times by helping them develop the long-term skills they need to thrive. Classes are taught at local community centers, food banks, schools, and transitional housing sites, and provide hands-on experience with cooking, nutrition, and budget planning. Chef’s Night Out accounts for 50% of OFL’s annual budget. With this year’s increase in demand, success is more vital than ever.
